Cotter Smith on Actors’ Temple

A few words from Cotter Smith about his experience working with us all at the Actors’ Temple – we all wholeheartedly agree that it is essential that we continue this journey we’ve begun, so are delighted to announce that he will definitely be returning before the year is out. Many thanks to Jason Wilson and Sara Kessel for inviting him to join and share his knowledge with us:

My time spent working with the gifted artists at The Actors’ Temple was a moving and inspiring experience which exceeded any outcome I could possibly have anticipated. This is a testament to what is being created by this important group. Having worked first with their gifted teachers, I was immediately struck by how courageous and seeking they were, how excited and energized to learn a new technique they could add to their work as mentors of their own students. I was then lucky enough to experience working with some of those students, who were all equally as eager to open wider, go further, fly higher, dive deeper and find more.

The talent and commitment of the teachers and students made it obvious that the AT is both run by and creating a soulful and gifted new generation of theater artists. Working with them was a perfect example of what makes teaching such an emotionally moving and important experience.
